Beginning Oct. 1, The News-Journal will be bringing you a new website. One of the features will be something I'm sure you TV junkies are going to love. It's called "The Office Blog."
Until the launch of said site, I'm leasing some blog space to the owner of "The Office Blog," Scott Sterbens. Be nice to him. Without further adieu...
"The Office" starts back up on Thursday, so Fanboy has been gracious enough to loan me his space so I can ramble on a bit about my favorite show. Will Jim ever be able to pop the question? What will happen with the Dwight-Angela-Andy love triangle? And you KNOW Michael will be going crazy with a Jan about to have a baby.
Yup, this season shapes up to be pretty good. Where will the episodes rank? Before we can look at this season, let's take a look back at the previous seasons.
Trying to pick your favorite 10 episodes is like trying to pick your favorite child. Actually, I only have one child, so that's not really that tough. But narrowing the list down to 10 is really hard ("that's what she said"). Still, here's my top 10:

10. Launch Party -- Alfredo's Pizza Cafe or Pizza by Alfredo? Pick the wrong one and you're eating a "hot circle of garbage."
9. The Dinner Party -- How can one party be just so downright awkward? And now I have Hunter's song stuck in my head. The gem of Season 4.
8. Benihana Christmas -- Michael and Andy doing karaoke to John Mayer is awesome -- but when, in the middle of it, Michael realizes he doesn't know which waitress he's hooking up with ... priceless.
7. The Merger -- How will Andy impress Michael? Name repetition, personality mirroring and never breaking off a handshake.
6. Casino Night -- Jim hooks up with Pam; Michael and Dwight try to keep Jan and Carol from meeting. Quite a season finale.
5. The Injury -- Whose injury was funnier -- Michael, burning his foot on a George Foreman Grill; or Dwight, getting a concussion trying to help Michael?
4. Beach Games -- The competitions Michael creates to find his successor are great, but then there's Pam's big speech. With this follow-up by Michael, "Pam, that was amazing. But I am still looking for someone with a sales background."
3. The Dundies -- I was a fan of the show from the beginning, but this episode was the one that sent me over the edge as a crazy fan. Setting "The Dundies" in Chili's was perfect. And so was Michael's take on "O.P.P." to get the party started.
2. The Return -- Seeing Dwight working at Staples was great. And how about when Andy snaps when he can't find his phone and puts his fist through the wall? "That was an overreaction" -- and it was awesome.
1. Christmas Party -- This episode has it all: Dwight dressed like an elf, secret Santa going haywire after Michael buys Ryan an iPod, this line: "Happy Birthday, Jesus, sorry your party's so lame", and an appearance by Todd Packer. Could it really get any better?

I can't wait to watch the season premiere or to read your new blog!!!!
