Sunday: At 2 p.m. on Animal Planet hang out with some overweight animals. C'mon what's cuter on a Sunday afternoon than a super fat dog? "Fat Pets" will follow the labored steps of a 202-pound rottweiler and a 40-pound spaniel.
Monday: I have a strange curiosity when it comes to medical shows. Not things like "Grey's Anatomy," real medical shows. At 7 p.m. on Discovery Health, "Medical Incredible" deals with a baby who was born with no skin on his head and much of his body.
Tuesday: OK, I know most of you will be working but this is the reason they invented TiVo. At 8 a.m. on the Sundance Channel, check out "The Making of 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid'" narrated by the late Paul Newman and Robert Redford who just so happens to own the Sundance Channel.
Wednesday: Readers who stick with this column will begin to learn about many of my guilty pleasures. I'll start with a big one. At 9 a.m., watch a whole hour of "The Golden Girls" on Lifetime. In the second episode, Rose peddles the power of positive thinking long before Oprah made it cool.
Thursday: At 9:30 p.m. on NBC, "Saturday Night Live" brings you its second installment of "Weekend Update Thursday." Commercials aside, it's about a 23-minute weekend update sketch with a probable debate sketch thrown in there. Last week was hit or miss, but the hits were right on the mark.
Friday: If you missed "Swingtown" when it originally aired on CBS, Bravo has got your back. Starting at noon, relax and watch a four-hour marathon of the show that brought the swinger lifestyle to primetime. Don't fall too much in love with the show, however. It probably isn't coming back for a second season.
Saturday: What's funnier than watching D-List celebrities act? Watching them wrestle. On CMT at 7 p.m., watch "Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling" to see names like Danny Bonaduce, Dennis Rodman and Todd Bridges step into the squared circle. C'mon folks, TV doesn't get any better than that.
