With a wintry nip in the air, it's a great year time to be in the holiday spirit. And when you're in Florida, what better way to enjoy that spirit than at Central Florida's various theme
parks.

Throughout the month of DeĀ­cember, everyone is putting their best decorated foot forward.
From SeaWorld's Polar Express train to a snowfall in the Magic Kingdom, there's never been a better time to head out to the parks.

Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure
WHEN: Daily through Jan. 1
DON'T MISS: For those who didn't get their fill of Thanksgiving parades, Macy's has come to Universal Orlando with street performers, marching bands and, of course, giant balloon floats directly from New York City. At Islands of Adventure, it's the return of Grinchmas with a live musical featuring the green one himself and thena stroll through the Whoville tree lot. For an extra bonus, check out Breakfast with the Grinch at the Confisco Grille today through Jan. 1.

Disney's Magic Kingdom Very Merry Christmas Party

WHEN: 7 p.m.-midnight today, today, Dec. 14, 16, 18-19
DON'T MISS: When regular park hours are over, the Christmas magic comes to life. And who does magic better than Disney? Be sure to check out the nightly tree lighting ceremony as well as a beautiful snowfall on Main Street and one of the park's specialties, Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime parade. Oh, don't forget the free cookies and hot chocolate.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

WHEN: dusk-close today through Jan. 4
DON'T MISS: If you're walking down the "Streets of America" backlot at Disney's Hollywood Studios, be sure to wear a jacket. The forecast calls for snow flurries and millions of lights in every shape and size. The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights is a yearly event at the park that features 5 million lights that need over 32 miles of extension cords And be sure to keep an eye out for the special performances as lights dance to classic holiday music.

Silver Springs Festival of Lights

WHEN: dusk-8 p.m. today-Dec. 24, 26-30; until 6 p.m. on Dec. 31
DON'T MISS: With more than a million twinkling lights, Silver Springs is really stepping it up for the holidays. The day A visit includes a lighted boat parade, a holiday buffet, local choirs and strolling carolers.

Sea World's Polar Express Experience
WHEN: Daily through Dec. 25
DON'T MISS: Sea World's Wild Arctic transforms itself into Santa Town. Hop aboard the Polar Express and experience the holiday film as you walk through scenes from the movie. And while you're at it, check out Shamu's daily "Christmas Miracles" water show.
