Life will be worth living again next TV season

Welcome back, true believers.

Sorry for the week off but sometimes you're friendly neighborhood Fanboy needs some time to sleep. But let's get back into things full throttle.

With the current television season coming to a close, the networks are starting to unveil their schedules for next season. Let's take a look at what you can expect when things kick back up in the fall.

ABC

Mondays:
"Dancing With the Stars" and "Castle" Tuesdays: "Shark Tank," "Dancing With the Stars Results Show" and "The Forgotten" Wednesdays: "Hank," "The Middle," "Modern Family," "Cougar Town" and "Eastwick" Thursdays: "Flash Forward," "Grey's Anatomy" and "Private Practice" Fridays: "Supernanny," "Ugly Betty" and "20/20" Sundays: "America's Funniest Home Videos," "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," "Desperate Housewives" and "Brothers & Sisters"

Biggest Moves: The biggest move here is "Ugly Betty's" move to Friday nights. But not mentioned is what will take the place of "Dancing With the Stars" when it finishes its run in November. The network announced that "Scrubs" will be back for another season. The show will feature many of the new interns with series regulars like Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke appearing occasionally through the series.

Have to say I'm a little sad about this. I love the show and this past season's finale would have been one of the best series enders I'd ever seen.

Axed: "Cupid," "Dirty Sexy Money," "Eli Stone," "In the Motherhood," "Pushing Daisies," "Life on Mars," "Samantha Who?" and "The Unusuals"
NBC

Mondays: "Heroes" and "Trauma" Tuesdays: "The Biggest Loser" Wednesdays: "Parenthood" and "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" Thursdays: "SNL Weekend Update Thursday," "Parks and Recreation," "The Office" and "Community" Fridays: "Law and Order" and "Southland"

Biggest Moves: Again, the biggest news from NBC is about the midseason shows. "Chuck" will be back for a third season. The show, which was saved by a huge fan outcry, will have its work cut it out for it, however. The network told the series they were going have to make some serious budget cuts. Is the cast in trouble?

Axed: "Kath & Kim," "Kings," "Knight Rider," "Life," "Lipstick Jungle," "My Name is Earl" and "Medium" (More on "Medium" later)

CBS

Mondays:
"How I Met Your Mother," "Accidentally on Purpose," "Two and a Half Men," "The Big Gang Theory" and "CSI: Miami" Tuesdays: "NCIS," "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "The Good Wife" Wednesdays: "The New Adventures of Old Christine," "Gary Unmarried," "Criminal Minds" and "CSI: NY" Thursdays: "Survivor: Samoa," "CSI" and "The Mentalist" Fridays: "Ghost Whisperer," "Medium" and "Numb3rs" Sundays: "The Amazing Race," "Three Rivers" and "Cold Case"

Biggest Moves: CBS has picked up the recently canceled "Medium." "NBC's cancellation of Medium is inexplicable to us," a statement from CBS read. "The ratings don't lie: Medium outperforms many of NBC's renewed shows."

Axed: "Eleventh Hour," "Harper's Island," "The Unit," "Without A Trace" and "Worst Week"

FOX

Mondays:
"House" and "Lie To Me" Tuesdays: "So You Think You Can Dance" Wednesdays: "So You Think You Can Dance Results Show" and "Glee" Thursdays: "Bones" and "Fringe" Fridays: "Brothers," "'Til Death" and "Dollhouse" Saturdays: "Cops," "America's Most Wanted," "The Wanda Sykes Show" Sundays: "The Simpsons," "The Cleveland Show," "Family Guy" and "American Dad"

Biggest Moves: No huge surprises in Fox's lineup except for the renewal of Joss Whedon's "Dollhouse," which many thought was a goner. Only other significant move is J.J. Abrams hit "Fringe" heading to Thursdays.

Axed: "King of the Hill," "Prison Break," "Sit Down, Shut Up" and "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles"

"Scrubs" should leave on the high note. JD made the show, it is a serious mistake to continue without him. It will be like "After MASH".

"My Name Is Earl" is hilarious, not really sure why NBC is axing it. I love SNL, but 30 minutes a week of Update? I don't see it happening.

Seriously, NBC should be on the lookout. I DVR Thursday night TV because I am at work. I might just Fringe over their Thursday line-up and just catch The Office online.

Life....I rave about it. I love it. Damian Lewis is freaking amazing. His character is much cooler than anyone else on TV. Donal Logue is a fine actor, his character sucks. If the show is indeed saying goodbye I blame Tidwell, the bastid. Seriously, Life is my second favorite show on TV right now. BOOOOO NBC. BOOOOOO I Say! Between that and the axing of the super popular "Medium", I think NBC is just trying to position themselves for a bailout.

Life..Are you kidding me? What is NBC thinking?
only down side of the whole series is Alan Arkin...too many repetitive questions from his character.. BOOOooo NBC ..(I second that)
