Now THAT is how you end a series

Anyone catch the series finale of "Scrubs" last night?

I've been a fan of this show since day one. I've watched through eight years of brilliant comedy and touching drama. Last night's finale was a perfect way to sum up a series.

We finally find out the janitor's real name. J.D. gets the honest opinion he has always wanted from Dr. Cox. We also get a glimpse of the gang's future. And it's everything we hoped it would be.

There's talk of reviving the series with a new cast of interns and while the idea has potential, it will never be what the original was able to become.

And yeah, I teared up a little bit during the show's last ten minutes.

Check it out here. (Well, until ABC yanks it from YouTube.)

Teared up a little? I cried like a little baby!!! I can't believe it is done :( It came way too fast! It was such a beautiful send off, though. It really was. It made me laugh and it made me cry, just the way the show always has. It really was perfect. Although I have to say, no, we really didn't get to find out the Janitor's real name cuz when JD walked away, someone else called him a different name. It's wasn't exactly the Sex and the City/Mr. Big name reveal. I was waiting for Dr. Cox to punch JD in the scene where JD hugs him, but he didn't and I was a little dissapointed that Cox didn't really hug him back. Oh, well. At least JD got to hear his honest opinion. The last scene when he was walking down the hall and all the past characters were there, WOW!!! Amazing and brilliantly done! I am so sad to see such a great show go. I will watch the new season if it comes, but it will be like watching "That 70's Show" after Eric and Kelso left. Just not the same.
