I wanted to wait at least three episodes to recommend this show to you guys because I wanted to make sure it wouldn't suck after it's glorious one-hour premiere. But now, three weeks later, you need to be watching HBO's newest masterpiece, "Hung."

Starring Thomas Jane as down-on-his-luck school teacher, Ray Drecker, "Hung" tells the tale of a former high school sports legend who finds himself divorced, broke and owning a home that has been rendered unlivable by a late night fire.

Desperate to reclaim his life, Drekker tries to make his way in the world using the biggest tool he's got, his own.

Yep, it's a comedy about a guy who becomes a male prostitute. It's like the "Weeds" of awkward sex. But it's not just about that. It's about family as Drekker tries to become a better father to his kids all the while battling his ex-wife, played by Anne Heche.

And yes, it's about sex. And pimping.

Jane Adams, who plays Drekker's pimp, is a huge part of what makes the show brilliant. Her uncomfortable yet enterprising attitude makes Adams' Tanya Skagle one of the more intriguing characters on television.

So to sum up..."Hung." HBO. 10 p.m. Sunday nights between "True Blood" and "Entourage," two shows you should be watching anyway.

Friday nights at 10 p.m. on USA, you should be watching "Psych," the story of Shawn and Gus, two average guys who open a "psychic" detective agency.

Now mind you Shawn, the "psychic," is not psychic at all but he does have extraordinary powers of memory and perception. It's those powers that enable him to solve crimes for the Santa Barbara Police Department.

But this isn't your typical crime show. The show is by far a comedy who's cast maintains an amazing dynamic. Make sure to stay tuned at the end of each episode for the weekly "Psych-Out," which features anything from an outtake to a sing-along skit.

Also. watch in the next couple weeks for a Fanboy interview with "Psych" cast member and longtime actor, Corbin Bernsen.

Today, we bring another feature to you, the devoted Fanboy reader. "Are You Watching This?" will bring shows to you that perhaps you haven't seen and should be watching.

First up, strangely is a children's show on Nickelodeon.

"The Backyardigans" is intended for the same audience that watches "Dora" and "Diego." I know what you're saying, "A kids' show?" Yes, a kids' show. The stories are cute and fun and the music really is pretty impressive and remarkably catchy.

If you want to know more, check out Friday's Go! section for a story on "The Backyardigans" and the live show that will be coming to the Peabody Auditorium on July 17.

The show airs at 7:30 a.m. on Nickelodeon and at 8 p.m. on Noggin.
