Vino 100 tasting to highlight summer wines

In celebration of the first week of summer, Vino 100 Ormond Beach will taste a number of wines that are perfect for summertime. The event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 26 at the store in Nova Shoppes, 175 S. Nova Road, one block south of Granada Boulevard.

The featured wines include both red and white wines from several different countries. "We have some wonderful lighter body wines that are perfect for the hot, humid Florida summer," said Becky Hudson, wine shop owner. "The wines will include some new arrivals as well as some past summertime favorites," she added.

Musical entertainment during the tasting will be provided by recording artist and saxophonist Richard Young, who will perform a variety of music including jazz and pop.

The fee for the event is $10 per person with full credit given toward any purchase made that evening. There is no charge for Vino 100 wine club members. Call 386-677-9800 or visit vino100ormondbeach.com for more information.
