Cedric wasn't the worst Raw guest host ever, but he wasn't the best either.
Cedric the Entertainer
1. The Bella Twins? REACT: What's with them? Are they props now, or wrestlers?
2. The limo. REACT: There was nothing entertaining about the limo exits, which included weak-looking football players.
3. Second-generation wrestlers segment. REACT: Entertaining -- the Andre the Giant/King Kong Bundy one was my favorite.
4. Santino Marella and Chavo Guerrero. REACT: Santino's comedy bits with the guest hosts need to end. Chavo complaining is character-smart.
5. 6-man match set, with a stipulation. REACT: Cedric sure was influenced easily by The Big Show and Chris Jericho.
6. Cedric the Entertainer beats Chavo Guerrero. REACT: Poor Chavo. This match was entertaining though with the use of three masked wrestlers.

Lillian Garcia's final Raw:
1. 10-year run. REACT: It's nice WWE recognized Lillian's final Raw. She had true-to-heart, genuine comments. She'll be missed. The "announcing never looked so good" sign summed things up rather well.

Other matches/angles:
1. Triple H vs. Cody Rhodes (no contest). REACT: DX got huge pops. I liked how they reminded us Shawn Michaels was in the first Hell in the Cell and HHH has five wins in the Hell in the Cell. This was a strong promo. Although Rhodes was built up nicely, the match was subpar. It was more interesting when all four, including Ted DiBiase Jr., were going at it, which bodes well for the pay-per-view. I'm surprised The Legacy got another buildup, but that's smart.
2. The Miz beats Evan Bourne. REACT: Strong match, and I like The Miz-Kofi Kingston push. The Miz needed a win here.
3. John Cena/Randy Orton contract signing. REACT: I don't like these to begin with, and I feared the "no physicality rule" would make it worse. It didn't. Cena and Orton both delivered nicely. Cena's pops were strong, and I like how there won't be rematches. This was a good PPV push.
4. Beth Phoenix beats Divas Champion Mickie James. REACT: This match was short and had a surprising result. Two good things happened though -- Beth got a much-needed win and WWE is building up Alicia Fox nicely. Alicia's scissors-kick was well done.
5. United States Champion Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger (no contest). REACT: Seemed short, but we have a decent triple-threat match in our future with The Miz thrown in.
6. Randy Orton/Unified Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho/Big Show beat WWE Champion John Cena/MVP/Mark Henry. REACT: The gauntlet stipulation (3-on-1 for next week for either Orton or Cena) had me thinking for sure Cena would lose. The stakes were definitely higher, and that was good. The match saw Cena and MVP take lengthy beatdowns, and it was good to have Orton get the pin.

Final thoughts:
1. Orton's split from The Legacy seems to be starting, as they were "given the night off" halfway through the show.
2. Cedric's grade: C.
3. Raw's grade: B. Strong PPV build, although the matches weren't the best.

Next week's host: Al Sharpton. REACT: This should generate extra viewers, whether you like Sharpton or not.
Future hosts: Sherri Shephard of ABC's The View sometime in October and Kanye West. REACT: I don't care for either one.

Undertaker may be looking at retirement after next year's WrestleMania. REACT: The rumors never die, but each year this one gets stronger. Which begs the question -- who to end his streak, or does it live on forever? I vote live on forever.
