Hulk Hogan vs. Ric Flair

The big news of the week involves reports of Ric Flair signing a three-year deal with Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff for Hulk Hogan's Hulkamania tour of Australia.
First off, I can't imagine this being a three-year deal. Who knows for sure.

Second, and more importantly, the first part of the tour is at the end of November. Hogan vs. Flair is being talked about as the main event.

This, obviously, would be a huge deal. The match itself would sell out arenas.

But Hogan's group of reported wrestlers doesn't end with Flair.

Names being mentioned as possibly being on board include Val Venis, The Godfather, Diamond Dallas Page, Umaga, Gangrel, Shannon Moore, Ken Anderson, The Nasty Boys, Jimmy Hart, Brutus Beefcake, Lacey Von Erich, Rob Van Dam, Jeff Hardy and some former WWE Divas.

If Hogan and Bischoff can get half of these names, they will have a very successful tour in Australia.

It'll be interesting to see if a rumored reality show evolves, or if we'll be able to enjoy this run through Australia here in the United States.

Let's hope so on both counts.

LATEST HEADLINES AND MY REACTS

TNA reportedly releases Jim Cornette and BG James. REACT: A little shocking, but not a total surprise. Reportedly, Cornette argued with Vince Russo -- which is a no-no.

Lilian Garcia reportedly told Monday's Raw Divas match was a triple threat. REACT: Not funny.

Mick Foley's father and Ted DiBiase Sr.'s sister pass away. REACT: My condolences to all involved.

Kurt Angle found not guilty of harassment (against Rhaka Rhan) and charges of driving with a suspended license and drug possession. REACT: This is great news for Angle and for TNA Wrestling, which now can say it made the right call in keeping Angle as its champion. Angle still needs to win next month's PFA violation and simple assault charge, which he probably will after this week's events. I still stand by my belief that Angle should not have held his title while this was going on.

The Great Khali out of WWE's story lines so he can have knee surgery. REACT: Speedy recovery to Khali, who has done better than I thought he would.

Miami trying to get WrestleMania 2011 or 2012. REACT: Bring it! Or send it to Jacksonville or back to Orlando -- it's closer.

Triple H to accompany Floyd Mayweather to the ring for Saturday's fight. REACT: Good exposure for WWE, and likely bad for Mayweather from the boxing crowd.

Mayweather claims he has been talking to Vince McMahon about joining WWE full-time, according to FanHouse.com REACT: I can see this happening one day.

Having an American Idol-style reality show to find a new Raw announcer. REACT: Great idea!

D-Lo Brown considering retirement. REACT: D-Lo had a good run.

WWE wrestlers who are shockingly not in Smackdown vs. Raw 2010. REACT: Sheamus and Tyson Kidd should have gotten in. I wonder what David Hart Smith thinks of not getting in. It's also ridiculous Mickie James is one point better than The Miz.

WWE removes Carl Ouellet's Youtube match against Kevin Nash. REACT: I can understand Ouellet's frustration, but copyrights are copyrights.

Ted DiBiase Jr. said his career goal is to end The Undertaker's undefeated WrestleMania streak. REACT: That will never happen, as DiBiase is years away (if ever) from main-eventing.

Muscle Flex Inc. to seek infringement damages against WWE for its unauthorized use of "Raw" in Canada. REACT: 10-years plus later?

WWE Bragging Rights pay-per-view Oct. 25 reportedly to feature triple threat matches (Raw vs. ECW vs. Smackdown), and fans can vote on the stipulations. REACT: I like it, as it will give us some great matches.

Jim Ross said he thinks Jerry Lawler would stay on Raw if he is elected Mayor of Memphis. REACT: I can't see that happening, but it would be cool.

Hulk Hogan reportedly now single? REACT: I've only seen one report of that, and it was from one of the stories on his tour. Who knows.
