Jeff Hardy arrested!

According to the Moore County (N.C.) Sheriff's Office, Jeff Hardy was arrested today at his home in Cameron, N.C., and charged with drug trafficking.
TMZ.com reported these findings: 262 Vicodin pills, 180 Soma pills, 555 milliliters of anabolic steroids, cocaine and drug paraphernalia. The street value is estimated to be around $2,500.

TMZ.com also reported Jeff's brother Matt posted Jeff's $125,000 bail.

Other than saying "alot of exaggerations are out there today, don't believe everything you read 4 it is not true, I am at home and fine-thanks for your concern," Hardy is withholding further comment until "later." Hardy said the media is reporting false things.

All I will say at this time is that it's good for WWE that Jeff Hardy is currently on hiatus and not part of the active story lines.

I will withhold further comment out of respect for Jeff Hardy until he makes further comment and until the arrest report is released, reportedly Monday.

None of that really strikes me as all the surprising, except for maybe the cocaine. Take the cocaine out of the equation, and that's about what I'd expect to be found at any professional wreslter's home. Vicodin and Soma are both pain relievers. Steroids, well, come on, he's in a business where it pays to be big. And drug paraphenalia, well, that's a loaded category, could be anything really. While not exactly the best publicity for professional wrestling or Jeff Hardy, I don't think there is anything TRULY damaging here, except for the reports of cocaine. That could definitely be bad news, but could also be misinformation.
