As I've mentioned in past JAWBreakers, it's no secret professional wrestling isn't real. Even WWE has been acknowledging it as sports entertainment for quite awhile now.
But, as I've also mentioned in past JAWBreakers, the athleticism is very real. And that also means the injuries are very real.
On that note, I'll briefly discuss something Tazz brought up last week on ECW -- about WWE not having an injury report.
Well, I think WWE should have an injury report.
The NFL has it. Baseball has it (disabled list). And so do countless other sports.
Why do I think wrestling needs an injury report? Because it would inform fans which wrestlers are injured.
It would mainly be for fans who have stopped watching the product. An injury report, assuming it's easily accessible (maybe even by using a scroller during WWE's television shows), would tell fans John Cena, Edge and Randy Orton -- for starters -- are out with injuries.
And, I think WWE should make sure it's a legit injury report. If someone takes a few days off due to a death in the family, it could be noted as such. It could also be specific as to how much time the injured wrestler is expected to miss.
That way, I'm not shocked when someone like Cena comes back from an injury months ahead of schedule.
Yes, that might nuke the occassional element of surprise, but it's much more important to be straightforward with fans these days in this still-dying economy. Because, let's face it. If a fan wants to buy merchandise of certain wrestlers, they might want to know their injury status.
As the number of injuries rise and the injuries are happening to bigger names, it's even more important to implement an injury report immediately.
What do you think?

The Hogans
1. Hulk Hogan's Celebrity Championship Wrestling debuts this Saturday (Oct. 18) on CMT. REACT: The cast of charcters is very interesting. Here's a link to the belt that is up for grabs: wildcatbelts.com/ccw.htm
2. Nick will be released from the Pinellas County Jail on Oct. 21. Brooke said she plans on cooking a feast for Nick. REACT: That's this coming Tuesday. JAWBreaker hopes to have release day reaction, so check back here.
3. "Brooke just didn't feel that it was the right time. It's not out of the question for the future, but we'll have to see." Those are the comment Brooke's publicist told US Magazine as it relates to Brooke turning down an offer to pose nude for Playboy. REACT: This would not be a good career move right now. You rarely see singers, especially younger ones, do something like this before their career takes off. If her singing career tanks, it wouldn't surprise me if she took the offer.
4. Haas Hogan on Monday's Raw. REACT: I wonder what Hulk thought of that match.
Randy Savage
1. Unfortunately, I have nothing new to report as it relates to Randy "Macho Man" Savage and WWE. But, check back periodically for updates.
2. Randy Savage and WWE Hall of Fame petition. Visit petitiononline.com/randy08/petition.html
3. Did anyone see the clip WWE showed of Savage on this past Monday's Raw? Was that a hit on Savage, since he was taking a guitar shot over the head by the Honky Tonk Man? Or did that just slip by WWE?

Did
anyone else see the pictures of Kevin Harvick and Carl Edwards
scuffling in the Nationwide Series garage area during practice for that
series race in Concord, N.C., this past Thursday?
Edwards looks like he is about to chokeslam Harvick. Don't you think The Undertaker would be proud?
I wonder if WWE will mock NASCAR on Monday Night Raw tonight or on Friday Night Smackdown.

As
I predicted last Friday, Volusia County resident Kevin Nash showed up
at TNA Wrestling's Bound for Glory in the main event in Chicago on
Sunday night.
Nash ran in at the end of the TNA world
championship match between Samoa Joe and Sting. With the champion Joe
as the heel, Nash grabbed Sting's bat as Sting went to use it. Nash
then hit Joe with the bat. That allowed the face Sting to use the
scorpion death drop to win the title.
With Nash now officially
back in TNA, it puts to rest any chance as to whether he will jump to
WWE anytime soon. However, there is still no word on new contract terms
for Nash with TNA Wrestling.
