First, I apologize for the slight delay in getting this posted -- and the lack of entries over the last week. The races have made things extremely hectic in the Sports Dept.
On to my thoughts on part 2 of "Lecture Circuit"...
I actually woke up in the middle of the night last night and thought, "If Jim didn't know how to spell Kelly's name, why didn't he just ask Toby?" Yes, that really happened. Yes, that's pretty sick. But it actually makes sense. He really would just guess at her name? Hmm.
OK, that's taking things too seriously. However, the stuff with Angela cleaning her cat ... that might've just been a little over the top. The nanny cam with the cats was funny. The $7,000 cat was funny. Licking the cat ... maybe that's where I draw the line because I'm allergic to cats. I'd walk into that house and my nose would instantly be stuffed to the point where I'd be breathing just out of my mouth, my eyes would be itching and watery, I'd be sneezing and I'd be sweating. So, not a big fan of cats. And maybe just too unrealistic for me.
I still absolutely love the "It is your birthday." sign that Dwight put up. It's one of those lines that you might see on one of "The Office" shirts. The rest of the Dwight-Jim stuff ... not too shabby.
The stuff with Michael and Pam was pretty good, too. I really liked Michael grilling Holly's new boyfriend. And I liked how Pam tried to use Michael's approach at remembering names.
