Overall, I thought this episode pretty much rocked. Although there were a couple of things that made me say "huh"?
First off, I really wish the episode could've been an hour. "Celebrity Apprentice" and "The Biggest Loser" had season finales that ran THREE hours. There's so much that gets left on the cutting room floor (or heads to the deleted scenes area on the Web site), that it would've been nice if they had made this one an hour.
The other things that I was just kinda so-so on: Pam finding out she's pregnant by spraining her ankle. By the way, as soon as the nurse said, "And there's no way you're pregnant" I knew she had to be. But going in for an x-ray on your ankle ... hmm. I guess that's being kinda picky. I liked Dwight's friend, but thought it was odd that he'd tag along for the company picnic. And that he was only there to call Angela a whore.
There was plenty to really like in this episode. Of course, there's the whole Pam being pregnant thing. It seems like they had done so little on the Jim-Pam relationship and wedding prep stuff (aside from the brief mention last week), that it seemed like something was due to happen.
I also loved the volleyball stuff. But I knew I would. Particularly, Andy was awesome. "Are you blind??!?!?" But when isn't he awesome? And then there's that Jim-Charles relationship. How can anyone not like Jim?
And then there's all of the Michael-Holly stuff. I haven't seen "Slumdog Millionaire," but I really don't think I needed to; I thought all of that was funny enough without even having seen the movie. How about how they told Buffalo their branch was closing? Too funny. I loved how the first three choices were actual branches and then the answer for D) was "toothbrush." And then it turns out the branch really is closing.
