A Night of One Acts at the Daytona Playhouse

As a part of the SUMMER SPLASH series, a NIGHT of ONE ACTS
is being presented at Daytona Playhouse on July 24 and 25 at 8 pm
and on July 26 at 2 pm.

Tickets are $10.00 general admission.
The Playhouse is located at 100 Jessamine Blvd., along the Halifax
River, just north of the Seabreeze bridge.

Act I is HE'S HAVING A BABY. Carrie Van Tol directs this hilarious ply by Fred Carmichael.
A story of three anxious mothers to be: Mrs. Murray, a first timer constantly at the point
of hysteria; Mrs. Foster, having her seventh and outwardly very calm; Mrs. Gordon, already
a mother, but determined to become a parent of a girl. As they wait to deliver they start
speculating what would happen if men had babies and women paced the maternity waiting
room. Both men and women will find plenty to laugh about.

Act II is ADA GIVES FIRST AID. This one act is by Eunice Merrifield and directed by
Corey Sowers. Scatter-brained Ada organizes a class in first aid, even though Ada
doesn't know the difference between a break and a sprain! But the "victim" is taken
sick and cannot appear for the demonstration. Then a strange man has an accident
in Ada's garden. Fate has handed a new victim to the first aid class! A riot of laughter
for good time summer fun.
