To usher in its 30th Anniversary year in Jacksonville, Florida, a celebratory ribbon cutting and spare rib eating competition is how Woody's Bar-B-Q® is honoring fans and friends. Woody's year-long anniversary festivities begin on Saturday, July 11 from 12 noon til 2:30pm. The Grand Prize Winner receives a $130 'Q' Card to use at any Woody's Bar-B-Q location in the U.S.
Owners Woody Mills and Yolanda Mills-Mawman will be personally greeting guests coming from many towns throughout Florida and Georgia at their original flagship location on University Boulevard (opened 1980). The public is cordially invited for complimentary Woody's Bar-B-Q® favorites like wings, pulled pork, sliders, potato skins and beer tasting; guests will be entertained by 25 registered rib-eating contestants and an afternoon of Bar-B-Q fun!
