Soaped out

girl.jpgWell, it's the last day of ABC Super Soap Weekend at Disney's Hollywood Studios and the last Super Soap after 13 years as ABC moves to holding more events nationwide. But like some of the stars told me we'll have to wait and see. They are hoping just like soaps kill people off and bring them back, that ABC and Disney will bring back Super Soap.

Not only did I get to party with the stars during the Street Jam Saturday night and get up and close with the stars at an after party, I learned a lot about them and their characters and how they are just like anyone else raising a family and making a living. As far as some news, Rebecca Budig "Greenlee" of All My Children said she will be leaving the show in early spring.

The commute to New York is hard living in California with hubby, Bob Guiney. She hopes the show doesn't kill off her character and would like the opportunity to return. She hopes to continue acting and work on some charity projects.

Some of the actors also shared insight on their storylines. Kristen Alderson "Starr" on One Life to Live and Brandon Buddy "Cole" talked about their teen characters having a baby. They received a lot of input from parents who said the storyline opened up communication between them and their children about sex.

Alderson said that was the message she wanted to send --- for teens and parents to start having conversations and to have a plan.
