Taking Notes

Who or what inspired you to take up music?

I went to an Incubus concert -- after that I knew that's what I wanted to do. My brother Tad got me started on the bass. Than we formed our band Amsden.

What was the most unusual or memorable gig you've ever played?

We just performed at the Anti Pop Festival at the Social in Orlando on the Jagermeister Stage with the SuperVillains. That was so badass. The stage was brought in from LA and the sound equipment was top of the line. It was an amazing experience to perform on the Jager stage. Plus we got to meet all the Jager Girls...ha ha.

What musician/celebrity/historical person would you most like to have dinner with?

Brandon Boyd (of Incubus).

What was the last book you read?

Surfing Magazine.

What CD/tape/music is in your car/home stereo/iPod right now?

Incubus, From First to Last and Ours.

What is your favorite movie?

"Rock Star" of course.

What was the best concert you ever attended?

Incubus is the best concert I ever went to. I waited in line with my brother and friends for 12 hours to be at the stage. It was so awesome!

"If I didn't play music, I would...":

Be a professional surfer or fly planes.

"I'd sell my soul for...":

Nothing is worth selling your soul for.
